‘Undivided’ - Giant’s Causeway, Northern Ireland

A modern twist on the iconic Giant’s Causeway, Northern Ireland.

Visitors and tourists from all over the world come to Northern Ireland to visit the Giant’s Causeway and hear the mythical story of Finn McCool and how he built the Giant’s Causeway as a link to Scotland in order to fight a Scottish Giant. Not only did Finn McCool establish a connection to the nearby Scotland but it seems he has developed a connection to the rest of the world unbeknown to him of course. 

Personally, I have travelled up to the North Coast every Summer and it is a place that holds many fond memories for myself and my family. I wanted to create a piece which reminds myself of these memories. I chose the green background as I feel the Giant’s Causeway is a strong symbol of Northern Ireland and the green isle, so what better fitting colour would there be other than Green!
