‘Unchanged’ - Harland & Wolff, Belfast

A modern twist on the unchanged Harland & Wolff cranes in Belfast. 

With the first crane ‘Goliath’ completed in 1969 and the second, ‘Samson’ in 1974, these cranes have been a prominent feature of the Belfast City Skyline through the past number of years. Whilst the surrounding shipyard and city have changed over the years, the cranes themselves have remained unchanged and so remain a familiar feature for residents and visitors alike.
